  • Base rewards: SCoins on everyday spends. City Union Bank's feature document lists 1 SCoin per ₹100 on base categories.
  • UPI boost: SalarySe advertises 5X rewards on UPI spends made through SalarySe UPI, and 10X above ₹20,000 a month.
  • Salary-day bonus: extra rewards on SalarySe UPI spends on salary days (the first and last day of the month), capped per billing cycle. This is the "37.5% salary-day rewards" headline you may have seen.
  • Redemption: SCoins are redeemed for vouchers, such as Amazon Pay. One listing values 5 SCoins at ₹1. Points expire 18 months after you earn them.

Eligibility

Third-party card listings describe these requirements. The bank makes the final decision after checking your credit report and KYC.

  • Age 21 to 65.
  • Salaried employment.
  • A credit score of about 710 or more.
  • A monthly salary of about ₹25,000 or more.

Is it worth it?

Good fit: you get a salary, you already pay by UPI a lot, and you will route those payments through SalarySe UPI. The UPI and salary-day rewards are where the card earns most.

Poor fit: you rarely use UPI, you don't want another app, or you might carry a balance. Interest of about 42% a year wipes out any rewards.
